Travel for Work

Rex Nordic Group is a fast-growing international company specializing in premium portable climate solutions and energy-efficient products. As we continue to expand our presence in North America, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Sales Manager to take ownership of our regional sales performance and help build the next stage of our growth.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role with responsibility for developing the market, leading and coaching sales professionals, strengthening our dealer network, and delivering profitable growth.

You will work closely with the North American leadership team and the Group organization to turn business strategy into clear sales priorities and measurable results.

What you will do?

Lead the North American East Region sales organization

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of sales professionals across the region.
  • Set clear sales priorities, targets and action plans and follow up on their execution.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop new sales team members, ensuring they quickly become productive and understand our ways of working.
  • Hold regular 1:1s, provide ongoing feedback and support performance development.
  • Identify performance gaps and take appropriate action to improve results.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer focus.

Drive sales and market growth

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Actively identify new business opportunities and expand Rex Nordic’s dealer network.
  • Build strong relationships with key dealers, customers and business partners.
  • Participate in important customer meetings, negotiations and commercial discussions.
  • Support salespeople in developing opportunities and closing larger or strategically important deals.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline, forecasts and sales activities to ensure a healthy and predictable business.

Be present in the field

This is not a desk-only leadership position. You will spend significant time in the field with your sales team and customers.

  • Join sales people regularly on customer and dealer visits.
  • Coach team members directly in customer meetings and negotiations.
  • Build relationships with key customers and understand their business needs.
  • Stay close to the market and identify opportunities, challenges and changing customer needs.
  • Travel regularly within the region to support the team and strengthen customer relationships.

Own sales performance and business results

  • Monitor sales performance against targets and forecasts.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and underperforming areas.
  • Follow sales metrics, pipeline development, dealer activity and order intake.
  • Contribute to regional financial performance and profitability.
  • Work with the leadership team to understand business performance and take corrective action when needed.
  • Provide regular updates on results, challenges, opportunities and required actions.

Bring market insight to the business

  • Monitor competitors, pricing, products and market developments.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential areas for expansion.
  • Bring customer and market insights back to the wider organization.
  • Represent Rex Nordic at relevant industry events, exhibitions and customer events.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for a proven sales leader who combines commercial drive with strong people leadership. You enjoy being close to the business and are comfortable moving between strategy, numbers, customer meetings and coaching your team.

You will ideally have:

  • 3–5+ years of successful sales and sales leadership experience, preferably in B2B, distribution, dealer networks or a related industry.
  • Experience leading, coaching or managing sales representatives, account managers or area managers.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market growth.
  • Strong experience developing customer and dealer relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • The ability to analyze sales metrics, forecasts and financial information and turn data into action.
  • Strong CRM skills and experience working with CRM-based sales processes. Experience with Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to spend significant time with your team in the field.
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of profitable growth, not just revenue growth.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within North America.
